Since 1975, the Safety Council of the Ozarks has been providing DWI and substance abuse education programs to those in southwest Missouri. We take pride in serving our community with professionalism and excellence as well as working hard to reduce the stress and anxiety of those who come to us for help. Courses held at the Council include: Substance Abuse Traffic Offender Program (SATOP) which is the Missouri process required for driver’s license reinstatement after an alcohol-related traffic offense, Responsibility Awareness Program (RAP) is a victim impact panel program, Minor Awareness Program (MAP) is for minor in possession citations. Our staff consists of trained Substance Abuse Counselors who meet high educational criteria and are Missouri-certified to conduct SATOP.
