Safety Management Assessments
Our experienced safety professionals provide a neutral, third party assessment of the current safety management system providing a benchmark while identifying and prioritizing areas for improvements. The assessment includes reviews of existing programs and documentation, field observations, hazard surveys and interviews to determine the compliance level and extent of program implementation. The standard for comparison will be Federal law, standard industry practice, and current safety philosophy and practice as indicated in the Councils nine elements of an effective safety management system National Safety Council consultants are industry professionals with extensive safety management expertise. Their assessment findings lead your organization to effective improvements. Our Safety Management Assessment will:

OSHA Voluntary Protect Program Assessment

Safety Management Leadership Training

Safety Program Effectiveness Evaluation Training
This one-day program shows you how to conduct systematic, rigorous evaluations of safety programs and interventions. It introduces scientific concepts and tools that assess the impact of injury prevention initiatives. We emphasize the application of evaluation techniques at the planning, implementation, and outcome stages of a safety intervention program that addresses interaction among managers, employees, job elements, and organizational factors.
Participants will:
- Identify key components of a systematic evaluation process and their methodologies.
- Recognize important factors related to the development of safety initiatives and program evaluation capacity at work.
Strategic Planning Consultation
Build on the National Safety Council’s experience and expertise by involving our consultants in your strategic planning process. We’ll provide advice and guidance as you develop your plans to ensure key initiatives are addressed. Our consultants will help you:
